It’s been about 2 years now since I’ve started my paper/digital art business and since then I have accumulated quite the collection of crafting tools to help me get the job done. Throughout my journey, I have found these crafting tools to be in my top 5 most used items. I included an item that is on my wish list, because I feel it is the next best thing in crafting. #2. Ryobi Hot Glue Gun

Ryobi Hot Glue Gun

The Ryobi hot glue gun has got to be my most used item. The gun and battery are sold separately. The total costs for this item is a bit pricey compared to other hot glue guns, but well worth it. This battery can be used on a number of Ryobi products as well.

The reason why I love this glue gun is because It’s cordless and I can use it anywhere. It’s extremely helpful if you have to take it to a job site to set-up.

#3. Scoring Board

I recently purchased this Martha Stewart scoring board at Michael’s and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. This scoring board is essential if you are into making invitations and envelopes. It helps to create straight lines for folding, especially helpful when using cardstock.

#4. Paper Trimmer

There are times when you need to cut paper into straight lines, and doing this by hand or with a cutting machine are not the most productive and efficient ways of getting this done.

Recollections Paper Trimmer

This Recollections paper trimmer is ideal when you have to cut straight lines and quickly! This item comes with a pink scoring tool as well, which works great when you don’t have to score multiple lines.

Glowforge – the 3D laser

Now, this item here is not one that I currently own but is definitely on my wish list. I’ve had my eye on the Glowforge 3D Laser Printer for sometime now and when I get my hands on it, I know that it will be my new bestie.

Laser Printers are especially useful when you have material that cannot be used with a regular cutting machine. For example, if you want to engrave a design on your laptop, this 3D laser printer will engrave the design beautifully without damaging your laptop. You can even engrave on desserts. OMG, I need this machine!!!!! Do you currently own a 3D Laser Printer? How do you like? Please share in the comments 🙂

So, there you have it folks. My list of top 5 crafting tools that I recommend to all.
